拉瑞安工作室創始人兼CEO斯溫·芬克近日通過推文,分享了《神界》新作的開發近況,稱項目已進入關鍵階段,開發者們已能「感覺到遊戲正在活過來」,讓等待已久的粉絲備受振奮。
I had a good day today. Well - development me - had a good day. Real me is fighting off the remaining symptoms of a cold. I realized I was having a good dev day when Adam - our writing director - started discussing the game with me. He just spent a week running through various permutations of one particular situation, tweaking the words, and had plenty of ideas. The things he said made sense but it wasn’t that which struck me. He often has good ideas. Instead, it was the energy level he was at. It made me happy because it felt like I had returned to a good place after being away for a while, seeing that all my favorite people and spots were still there together with a whole bunch of new ones, waiting for me to explore. I’m talking about being in that stage of development where there is a lot that is still rough or missing, but where you sense that a game is coming alive. Something was created out of nothing and you now get to experience what it feels like, knowing that things are still very moldable and that from here onwards, it can only improve. It’s a good moment in the life of any game. And it’s one I expect many developers recognize. As our discussion flowed in the direction of the arcs of one of our antagonists and we started discussing micro-details, I was saying to myself - yeah, this is good. Days like this really are why I love doing what I do.
芬克表示,此次感悟源於與工作室編劇總監亞當·史密斯的交流。史密斯花一周時間打磨劇情分支、微調台詞,其飽滿的工作熱情讓芬克倍感觸動,仿佛「回到熟悉的好地方,發現新驚喜正等待探索」。

目前《神界》新作的公開資訊仍有限,僅知其為全新獨立作品,規模超越《柏德之門3》,將強化同伴互動,且不會採用AI生成低俗內容。芬克坦言,遊戲目前仍「非常可塑」,但他已正式確信這會是一款佳作。

他進一步解釋,當前開發階段雖仍有粗糙或缺失的內容,但已能真切感受到遊戲的「靈魂」正在成型——從無到有的創作已初見成效,後續只需持續打磨便能愈發完善,這也是所有開發者都能體會的美妙時刻。

據悉,《神界》新作自去年12月宣布後,便一直備受玩家關注,此次芬克的分享,無疑為這款備受期待的RPG新作注入了一劑強心針。
