針對負面輿論，《海賊王》動畫師Vincent Chansard曾公開為《一拳超人》的製作團隊辯護。隨後，《一拳超人》第三季導演永居慎平刪除了個人社交媒體賬號。
有評論認為，《一拳超人》第三季的問題與製作方變更有關。該系列第一季由瘋房子於2015年製作並獲得好評，第二季起改由J.C. Staff負責，但其製作風格與前作存在明顯差異。
