近日，《惡靈古堡》知名爆料者Dusk Golem表示，《惡靈古堡9：安魂曲》將會是里昂的謝幕之作。
Dusk在社交平台X上表示：「我之前說過的一些話，現在又回到了我這兒——當然，是關於《惡靈古堡9：安魂曲》里的里昂的。我只能這麼說，里昂遲早會被正式公開，屆時大家都會感到興奮，那很好。而我也知道，到時候肯定會有人說我只是猜的，或者是從哪裡抄來的。」

此前，《惡靈古堡9：安魂曲》導演中西晃史在接受採訪時表示，並非所有爆料都準確，有些對了，有些半對不對，有些完全錯誤。直到遊戲真正發售前，製作組也無法確定這些資訊是否會影響開發計劃。
