GTA 6 won’t achieve the same Big Five GOTY sweep as Baldur’s Gate 3 and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 in the 2026/27 awards season. The Golden Joystick Awards take place on November 11, eight days before GTA 6 launches on November 19. The game won’t be released in time and can’t compete this year. The Big Five awards are: - Golden Joystick Awards - The Game Awards - DICE Awards - GDC Awards - BAFTA Games Awards Baldur’s Gate 3 and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 won all five in a single awards season. GTA 6 must wait until the 2027 Golden Joystick Awards, so it can’t do the same in one season. https://twitter.com/Pirat_Nation/status/2103077988476842078
