4月18日消息，面對DDR5記憶體價格持續走高的現狀，華擎聯合Intel及十銓共同推出HUDIMM新記憶體標準，通過簡化記憶體結構，為DDR5記憶體降價提供可能。

據悉，HUDIMM標準核心為單通道設計，與傳統UDIMM記憶體條的雙32位子通道不同，其僅保留一個32位子通道，這使得記憶體條所需焊接的DRAM晶片數量減半，製造成本大幅降低，尤其適合對大容量記憶體無高需求的入門級用戶。
華擎已通過BIOS更新，在600/700/800系列主板上啟用HUDIMM支持，並公布實測數據：8GB HUDIMM與16GB UDIMM混合使用時，頻寬表現優於單條24GB UDIMM，證明單通道與雙通道記憶體混用可保持良好性能，未因通道減半受損。
此外，該技術還將以HSODIMM形式面向筆記本和迷你設備，作為傳統SODIMM的低成本替代方案。Intel副總裁也表示，該創新能讓桌面計算設備保持親民，讓用戶更廣泛享受DDR5技術紅利。
