4月18日消息,面對DDR5記憶體價格持續走高的現狀,華擎聯合Intel及十銓共同推出HUDIMM新記憶體標準,通過簡化記憶體結構,為DDR5記憶體降價提供可能。

據悉,HUDIMM標準核心為單通道設計,與傳統UDIMM記憶體條的雙32位子通道不同,其僅保留一個32位子通道,這使得記憶體條所需焊接的DRAM晶片數量減半,製造成本大幅降低,尤其適合對大容量記憶體無高需求的入門級用戶。

華擎已通過BIOS更新,在600/700/800系列主板上啟用HUDIMM支持,並公布實測數據:8GB HUDIMM與16GB UDIMM混合使用時,頻寬表現優於單條24GB UDIMM,證明單通道與雙通道記憶體混用可保持良好性能,未因通道減半受損。

此外,該技術還將以HSODIMM形式面向筆記本和迷你設備,作為傳統SODIMM的低成本替代方案。Intel副總裁也表示,該創新能讓桌面計算設備保持親民,讓用戶更廣泛享受DDR5技術紅利。
