《控制：共振》（Control Resonant）發售日臨近，卻因搶先體驗政策引發玩家社區爭議。Remedy娛樂確認，僅PlayStation 5平台的數位豪華版玩家可於9月22日提前48小時進入遊戲，而PC（Steam、Epic）和Xbox Series X|S玩家即便購買同等價格的豪華版也無法享受該權益。

PS5數位豪華版定價398港幣，包含遊戲本體、48小時搶先體驗權、狄倫的"AWE任務"套裝、獨家外觀道具、新手資源禮包、數位藝術設定集與原聲音樂集。PC和Xbox平台的數位豪華版定價相同，但缺少搶先體驗權益。
這一"區別對待"讓不少PC和Xbox玩家感到不滿。有網友在社交媒體上吐槽："這是我見過最奇怪的發售安排，花同樣的錢卻享受不到同樣的待遇。"更有玩家表示已取消預購，直言"9月份直接跳過這款遊戲"。
